Buildings & Operations

É«½äÖ±²¥ targets achieving net zero energy for future campus buildings. This involves designing structures that produce as much energy as they consume through renewable energy sources and energy-efficient systems. Retrofitting existing buildings will also be a priority to reduce overall energy consumption utilizing the Regenerative design concepts. É«½äÖ±²¥ will pursue certifications like LEED to benchmark progress toward these goals. LEED Zero buildings represent a key element in the university's long-term sustainability efforts.
