Our Purpose
Established in 2019 at É«½äÖ±²¥, the Center for American Public Policy (CAAmPP), a special group of the College of Liberal Arts and housed within the Department of Political Science, is a think tank, providing unbiased and non-partisan research on public policy issues affecting Americans and other peoples of color in Virginia and the world.
Our Work
Empower. Educate. Serve.
CAAmPP's mission is to empower minority communities, educate the public and assist lawmakers by providing alternatives on issues involving Americans in Virginia and beyond.
The Center serves as a clearing house for research initiatives as well as a place to conduct in-depth polling of communities of color and mediate difficult discussions about race and inequity.
