CREAM–Center for Research & Education in Advanced Materials
NASA Glenn Research Center – University Research Center – $6,000,000
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sam Sun
Research Objectives:
- Investigate & develop novel nano structured inorganic, organic, & polymeric opto鈥恊lectronic and photonic materials for future generation cost effective, lighter weight, more compact size, higher efficiency and higher capacity opto鈥恊lectronic & photonic device applications.
- Investigate electron鈥恘uclear spin dynamics in high鈥恠pin systems
- Investigate electron鈥恘uclear spin dynamics in high鈥恠pin systems.
- Processing, fabrication, and characterization of organic, polymeric, & inorganic nano鈥恠tructured OE/OE materials & thin film devices via spin Coating MVD, PLD, etc.
- Train students in chemistry & solid state physics relevant to materials science & engineering.
- Collaborated with over 20 scientists from other academic institutions/ organizations, government labs, & high tech companies.
