III. BEHAVIORAL ELEMENTS ______1.Physical Presence: the counselors body posture, facial expressions, and gestures are natural and congruent with those of the clients.______2.Activity Level: the counselor maintains a level of activity appropriate to the clients activity level. Non-Verbals: a) the counselors physical movements are appropriate to the clients activity level during the counseling session, b) Voice: the counselors tone of voice and rate of speech are appropriate to the clients present state and/or counseling session.
